The United Nations in Mongolia, in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications (MDDC), Government of Mongolia and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), is organizing the Global Digital Dialogue (GDD) 2023.
The objective of the GDD is to facilitate the exchange of experiences from different countries on how to implement digital transformation strategies for achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the participation of a wide group of stakeholders, including the Member States, UN entities, private sector, international financial institutions and other key stakeholders.

About the event
The GDD 2023, further building on the discussion of the GDD 2022, will focus on the role of e-commerce in facilitating digital trade and economic diversification. The Dialogue will investigate how e-commerce can make trade and economic activities digitalized and contribute to the diversification of economies in an inclusive manner.
Discussion and findings of the Dialogue will feed into discussion of other higher-level forums, including the 1st ICT Ministerial Meeting: Building Inclusive Digital Economy and the World Export Development Forum (WEDF) 2023, whose theme is “Diversify with Green Trade: organic, digital and sustainable.
