Workshop on Mongolia’s Sustainable Digital Trade and Transport

The objective of the workshop is to review the current status and challenges in Mongolia’s sustainable digital trade and transport as a landlocked developing country and discuss measures and mechanisms for addressing them with enhanced digital capacities. The workshop will be participated by a wide group of stakeholders, including the Government, UN entities, private sector, development partners and other key stakeholders.

The Workshop will investigate issues in advancing Mongolia’s digitalization and trade and transport connectivity, discuss how to develop effective dry ports with application of digital technologies, and present digital cooperation instruments and tools for improving Mongolia’s connectivity.

Discussion and findings of the Workshop are expected to contribute to planning and implementation of programmes and projects for Mongolia’s digitalization of trade and transport procedures, including dry ports.
