National Stakeholders’ Consultation on Sustainable Development Goals Prepares Mongolia for the UN 'Summit of the Future

6 September 2024, Ulaanbaatar – Today, the Ministry of Economy and Development of Mongolia, in collaboration with the UN in Mongolia, convened the Sustainable Development Goals – National Stakeholders' Consultation. This event marks a significant step in Mongolia’s preparation for its high-level participation in the UN’s Summit of the Future, set to take place during the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York later this month.

Empowering Landlocked Developing Countries: New Research and Innovation Network Launched for Sustainable Development

04 September 2024, Ulaanbaatar – To enhance capacity of landlocked developing countries in evidence-based policy-making and research for sustainable development, the International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries (ITTLLDC), with the support of the United Nations Resident Coordinator Office (UNRCO) Mongolia, established a research and innovation network for landlocked developing countries (LLDCs).
